We Have a Rudder!

The rudder for an RV-10 airplane lays in a cradle with most rivets complete with one small section of sheet metal still open.

While Jessica recuperated from a recent international trip, I traveled to visit Bob and the EAA chapter in Toms River, NJ. Bob let me put in some work on the rudder and the horizontal stabilizer. With his expertise and dedicated help from members of the chapter, we were able to log over 100 man hours over four days.

Special thanks to Michael and Gene!

Removing burs left over from the factory.

Assembling the ribs and spars of the horizontal stabilizer (the little wing at the back of the airplane)
